On August 17, 2016, the official website of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) released the evaluation results of the application for the 2016 NSFC projects. The subject applied by Prof. Zhan Xinyu from IIDPF, Research on Simulation of Economic Fluctuation Effects of Fiscal Policy Changes and Policy Optimization of Fiscal Macro-control: Theory, Model and Empirical Study was approved by the Youth Science Fund. It is reported that in 2016, ZUEL applied 101 NSFC projects, and 23 (this number is the same as last year) of them were approved and received a grant of 5.31 million RMB after the expert evaluation organized by NSFC, including 4 general projects and 19 Youth Science Fund projects.
