International Cooperation

International Cooperation

Based on the core value of "public wealth and social justice", IIDPF aims to be a top-notch academic and think-tank research institute in response to the major strategic needs of China. Internationalisation is a key strategy in this direction. With a decade of development, IIDPF has demonstrated outstanding international characteristics in research, academic cooperation and talent training, and has continued to expand its international influence.

Since our establishment in 2010, IIDPF has developed an interdisciplinary and international research team with a strong academic background, broad vision and dynamic thinking, while actively participating in and expanding a number of international scientific collaborative programmes. We have attracted renowned scholars from internationally renowned universities such as Oxford University, Cornell University and the University of Nottingham to participate in research collaboration programmes and projects at all levels. These high-profile international scholars not only have reputable academic reputations overseas, but also hold positions as fellows of leading societies, editors-in-chief, associate editors and editorial boards of top journals, with significant academic contributions and policy influence.

IIDPF has been actively promoting a wide range of collaborative relationships with renowned institutions around the world. We promote cross-country research with our international sister institutions, enhance cross-fertilisation in the academic field, provide our research teams with a broad international exchange platform and accelerate the internationalisation process. As of August 2020, IIDPF has established two sub-bases for income distribution research in Serbia and Austria, creating and expanding a new model of educational exchange and cooperation in countries along the "Belt and Road". Eight prestigious institutions have signed exchange and cooperation agreements in the UK, USA, France and Australia.

To further strengthen the depth of international cooperation, in January 2020, IIDPF established the Innovation Base for the Discipline of Income Distribution and Public Finance, a national project that brings together scholars from the fields of finance, statistics, economics and law from home and abroad to conduct cutting-edge research on income distribution, modern fiscal theory and policy, and policy evaluation. On the other hand, to strengthen China's national academic influence, IIDPF has established a high-end dialogue platform, the Xixian Forum on Income Distribution, which regularly co-organises conferences with domestic and international journals to discuss topical issues in income distribution and public finance, making it an academic brand of the Institute.

In the future, IIDPF will continue to leverage its strengths and pursue excellence on a sound international foundation and cooperation platform to summarize and create theories and practices at the forefront of income distribution and public finance. IIDPF will continue in training management and academic talents with international vision and knowledge, foresight and creativity for China and the world.
