Supported by the School of Finance and Taxation, IIDPF has been actively promoting high platform cooperation in international talent training. We have launched a series of strategic cooperation and talent training programmes with renowned foreign universities such as the University of Nottingham, the University of Michigan, Rennes School of Business, Cardiff University, the University of Exeter and the University of Southern Queensland, providing a broader international exchange platform and abundant overseas study opportunities for outstanding students. IIDPF has also sponsored a number of outstanding young faculty members to visit prestigious universities such as Harvard University and Oxford University for further study, providing young scholars with opportunities to broaden their research horizons and enrich their academic inspiration.
Take the joint training of undergraduate and master's degree as an example, IIDPF selects stellar students from the undergraduate intake and starts the "4+1" undergraduate and master's degree programme with the University of Nottingham, i.e. those who have completed all the credits of the four-year undergraduate training programme in China and met the corresponding requirements are able to study for a master's degree in the School of Economics at the University of Nottingham.
IIDPF and Johannes Kepler University Linz have also established a joint PhD programme in order to serve the national Belt and Road Initiative. Following the approval of the Innovation Base, IIDPF will work with foreign experts to recruit and supervise PhD students in various fields.
To strengthen academic research and cooperation and to promote communication between Chinese and foreign scholars, IIDPF Visiting Scholar Programme is open to young scholars on a permanent basis. Scholars with formal positions in universities and research institutions may submit research proposals on topics in income distribution and public finance to IIDPF.
