(Correspondent Cheng Mingmei) On August 16, 2018, the official website of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) released the evaluation results of the application for the 2018 NSFC projects. The subject applied by Prof. Zhao Ying from IIDPF, The Multidimensional Impact of Education on Poverty Alleviation on Micro Human Capital Accumulation: Performance Assessment, Mode of Action and Optimization Path was approved by the Youth Science Fund with a grant of 185,000 RMB and the project approval number is 71804193. It is reported that in 2018, ZUEL applied 109 NSFC projects, and 26 of them were approved and received a grant of 6.915 million RMB after the expert evaluation organized by NSFC. Among them, there are 7 general projects, 18 Youth Science Fund projects, and 1 project on International (Regional) Cooperation and Exchange.
