At 8:30 a.m. on October 16, the opening ceremony of the Ministry of Finance (MOF) Training Course on Financial Management and Innovation for Supporting Xinjiang, Tibet and Qinghai was held in Classroom 101 of Wenjin Building in ZUEL.
The participants of the opening ceremony were Director Wu Zhenpeng and Division Chief Sun Fenglin of the Cadre Education Center of MOF, Chief Accountant Wang Jianhong of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of ZUEL, and Secretary Zhou Wei of the Party Committee of the School of Public Finance and Taxation. The opening ceremony was presided over by Division Chief Han Yuguo of Division 4, Cadre Education Center, MOF.
The first item of the conference was a speech delivered by Chief Accountant Wang Jianhong. He introduced the basic situation of Wuhan, the development of ZUEL, and the joint construction of the ministry and the province, and then briefly introduced the curriculum, faculty selection and extracurricular practice of this training course. At the end of his speech, the Chief Accountant wished all the students success and happiness in their studies.
The second item of the conference was a speech made by Director Wu Zhenpeng of Cadre Education Center, MOF. He firstly sincerely thanked ZUEL for the careful preparation for this training course, then introduced the purpose and significance of the course, and put forward disciplinary requirements for the participants who came to this training. Finally, he hoped that everyone could learn and use the training to serve the social and economic development of Western China.
The participants of this training are seventy financial cadres from Xinjiang, Tibet, Qinghai and the Construction Corps. It is believed that after systematic learning, they will improve their financial management and innovation ability.
It is reported that this training will last for 10 days. The School of Public Finance and Taxation has made elaborate preparation in faculty provision, teaching methods and service guarantee. In terms of faculty provision, well-known professors of ZUEL and teachers from sister universities were combined together to create a strong training team. In terms of teaching methods, the trinity training mode of "learning + exchange + investigation" is adopted, focusing on the combination of theory and practice. The participants are scheduled to visit Changfei Fiber Optic Cable Company Limited, Fiberhome Technology and Fiberhome Communications Group in the afternoon of Oct 18. A group discussion on how to win the "three major battles" is going to be held on Oct 20. On Oct 22 the class will visit Ezhou's new rural construction to conduct case studies and on-site teaching. All these activities are for the training effect of "really learn, really understand, really do". In terms of service guarantee, ZUEL creates a high standard of service. The class is equipped with a professional management service team to ensure a good learning and living environment for its members.
