  The expert validation meeting for the application of the interdisciplinary degree point of "income distribution" was held in the conference room on the third floor of Zhongyuan Building in the morning of December 3, 2021, co-organized by the School of Public Finance and Taxation of ZUEL and IIDPF, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology. The meeting was attended by Professor Gao Lihong, Director of the ZUEL Discipline Construction Office, Professor Kang Junxin, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences, Professor Zhang Qi, Director of the Department of Finance, Professor Li Xiaoping, Dean of the School of Economics, Professor Qian Xuefeng, Dean of the School of Business Administration, Yuan Guijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, Professor Zhang Kezhong, Dean of the School of Public Finance and Taxation and Deputy Director of the IIDPF, Professor Sun Qunli, Deputy Director, Professor Lu Yuanping, Executive Deputy Director, as well as heads of relevant functional departments of the university and representatives of faculty and students.
  This expert validation meeting invited Professor Guo Xibao, Director of Wuhan University Economic Development Research Center, Professor Zhang Jianhua, Dean of School of Economics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Liu Poorzhi, School of Economics and Management, Wuhan University, Professor Yang Jisheng, School of Economics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Luo Chuliang, School of Labor and Personnel, Renmin University of China, Professor Wang Zengwen, School of Politics and Public Administration, Wuhan University, Professor Xie Chalk, School of Economics, Shandong University, to analyze and discuss the establishment and construction of the interdisciplinary degree in "Income Distribution".
  Opening the meeting, Professor Zhang Kezhong began his speech by extending a warm welcome to the experts and scholars attending the validation meeting. He emphasized that income distribution is a major issue in China's economic and social development, which is related to people's interests and the overall situation of national reform, development and stability. In this context, it is of great significance to develop the interdisciplinary degree program of "income distribution". Through cross-fertilisation and collaborative innovation, we will promote a theoretical system, talent training mechanism and discipline specialisation in income distribution with ZUEL's characteristics and adapted to China's national conditions.
  Professor Sun Qunli, Deputy Director of IIDPF, made a report on the preparation for the establishment of the interdisciplinary degree program of "Income Distribution", the foundation of construction, the advantages of the discipline, the faculty, the construction plan, the research direction, the cultivation of talents and the social services, and expressed his determination and confidence in the establishment of the interdisciplinary degree program of "Income Distribution".   In the subsequent evaluation session, experts and scholars discussed in depth how to promote the construction of the "Income Distribution Studies" degree program at ZUEL, taking into account the actual construction of the discipline at present.
