  An Atlas of World Research Cooperation: Scale, Structure and Roles
  We are in an era of great science, where scientific collaboration has become a necessary and mainstream form of scientific activity for scientists, presenting a heterogeneous cross-institutional, cross-country and cross-disciplinary character. Scientometrics is a viable and reliable method to analyse the trends and dynamics of the world's scientific collaboration over the past 40 years from an all-disciplinary and all-temporal perspective. In this report, we will focus on the scale, structure and role of scientific collaboration and present a panoramic view of the world's scientific collaboration through the mining of collaborative relationships embedded in scientific literature data.
  Presenter: Hu Zhigang
  Hu Zhigang is an associate professor, deputy director of the Institute of Science and Technology Management of Dalian University of Technology, and a young talent of Xingliao Talent in Liaoning Province. His main research areas include scientific knowledge mapping and full-text citation analysis. He has published more than 50 papers in SSCI or CSSCI journals, and his achievements have won the second prize of the Liaoning Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Achievement Award, etc.
