Professor Yang Canming, President of ZUEL and Director of IIDPF, Professor Sun Qunli, Deputy Director of IIDPF and all the faculty attended the working meeting.
Professor Lu Yuanping outlined the completion of IIDPF's work in the first half of this year, affirmed the work and achievements of all faculty members from four aspects: talent development, academic research, faculty construction and think tank building and external cooperation, and arranged the development tasks for the second half of the year around the development direction of IIDPF.
Professor Sun Qunli elaborated on the three tasks to be carried out by the base: the first is the writing of the annual research report of the Survey of Chinese Residents' Income and Wealth, the second is the publication of the IIDPF journal, and the third is the preparation of the application of major projects.
\rofessor Yang Canming affirmed the achievements of the first half of the year and concluded that the normative nature of IIDPF management had been further strengthened, suggesting the following five perspectives:
Internationalisation
IIDPF's international visibility and influence is gradually increasing. At this stage, we need to further overcome the impact of the pandemic and conduct more forms of international exchange activities by organising and participating in international conferences and bringing in international talents.
High Level Research Reports
The preparation and delivery of high quality research reports is a key component of IIDPF, and colleagues should actively serve China's strategic needs and contribute to economic and social development.
National-level projects
IIDPF will support young faculty members in their project applications, coordinate planning, conduct research and guidance, and promote a greater number of high-quality projects.
Sustainable Development
We should both adhere to and consolidate our current achievements, as well as continue to refine and clarify the direction of its development and fundraising in multiple manners.
Routine Tasks
Regular tasks need to be further standardised, and if the existing office environment and conditions do not meet the working and learning needs of faculty and students, they should be resolved as soon as possible.
In his concluding speech, Professor Yang Canming noted that this year is a crucial year for the development of IIDPF, all staff should concentrate their efforts, seek development in a pragmatic approach, thus to contribute to the higher-quality development of IIDPF.
