Speaker Profile: Ouyang Zhenren
Professor Ouyang is a professor at the Center for the Study of Chinese Traditional Culture, Wuhan University, a professor at the School of Chinese Studies, a doctor of philosophy, and a doctoral supervisor. He is currently the executive editor of Yangming Studies, the director of the Yangming Studies Research Center at Wuhan University. He is mainly engaged in research on the history of Chinese philosophy, Confucianism (especially pre-Qin Confucianism and Lu Wang Xinxue), and the study of ideas in newly unearthed documents in silk.

Professor Ouyang has published 14 independent monographs, 23 edited books, more than 170 full-length academic research papers, and more than 10 national major research projects, major projects of the Ministry of Education, and major provincial and ministerial projects. He is a visiting professor and adjunct professor of several domestic and international universities. Over the years, he has lectured on Chinese traditional culture at all levels of government, military, universities and colleges, and large enterprises from the central to local levels, which has had a profound impact.
