Research capability is an important indicator of the level of university operation, and is a core element in promoting the construction of high-level universities. How to enhance innovation, improve scientific research and publish in important journals is a key topic of concern for all researchers. Professor Shi Jin combined his research experience to explain the process of writing high-level academic papers from various perspectives, including topic selection, data collection, empirical writing, academic networking and journal positioning, and encouraged the teachers and students present to do their best in academic research.
Professor Shi's lecture was clearly structured, well-organised and interspersed with narrative, which not only enabled the audience to understand the basic process of international scholars doing research, but also the important methods of doing empirical research. The lecture ended with a round of applause. We are very much looking forward to Professor Shi Jin's return lecture in Wuhan!
