Prof Wang gave a comprehensive overview of Ireland's economic development in terms of GDP, international trade, foreign direct investment, and social demographics. Professor Wang then summarised the characteristics of the Irish economy in terms of economic structure and US investment. Finally, he discussed the impact of COVID on the economy, including macroeconomics, industrial restructuring, and the outlook for the post-COVID era.
