Good News! Projects of Five 111 Center Researchers Approved by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2025

On August 27, the official website of the National Natural Science Foundation of China released the Announcement on the Review Results of Centralized Application of Projects Received by National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2025. The projects of five researchers from the Center for International Cooperation and Disciplinary Innovation of Income Distribution and Public Finance (111 Center), namely Ye Jingjing, Yan Weibo, Wan Xin, Wang Xiaoxiao, and Ouyang Jie, were approved by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including one general program and four Young Scientists Fund ones.

Upholding the concepts of intrinsic development, innovation-driven development, globalization, and high-quality development, the 111 Center aligns with the goal of developing a world-class and domestically leading base, respecting academic principles, prioritizing talent cultivation, and striving for innovation and excellence. In June 2025, the 111 Center passed the evaluation and approval process conducted by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China, officially ranking among China's top scientific research institutions in the fields of public finance and economics.

Focusing on significant theoretical and practical topics, including the fourth distribution, common prosperity, improvement of the income and wealth distribution system, and development of modern fiscal and taxation systems, it aims to precisely set development benchmarks, emphasize unique research features among peer universities, bases, and research teams, so as to build a distinctive academic brand.
