SUN Qunli, male, born in August 1964, from Yiyang, Hunan province, PhD in Economics, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Public Finance and Taxation of ZUEL
Professor SUN primarily conducts research in fiscal policy and theory, and income distribution. He chairs a project of National Social Science Foundation of China on “The Scale, Relationship, and Impact of Hidden Income and Corruption (11BJY036)” and has successfully completed two projects of Hubei Province Social Science Fund. He has also participated in research for key projects of the Ministry of Education, projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and general projects of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education. Presently, he serves as an anonymous reviewer for Economic Research Journal.
In the past five years, he has published over 20 papers in journals, including Economic Research Journal, Journal of Management World, Finance & Trade Economics, Public Finance Research, and other CSSCI-indexed journals, and authored two monographs. His main views and research conclusions have been cited and reprinted by Chinese Social Sciences Today, Chinese Social Sciences Digest, China Social Science Excellence, other journals, and influential Chinese online media. Professor SUN was awarded the Third Prize in Economics at the 5th National Universities Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Awards (Humanities and Social Sciences) in 2009, the First Prize in Economics at the 6th National Universities Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Awards (Humanities and Social Sciences) in 2013, the Second Prize at the 7th Hubei Province Social Science Outstanding Achievement Awards in 2011, the Professional Research Award at the 2nd China Soft Science Award in 2011, the First Prize for Outstanding Fiscal Theory Research Achievement by the Ministry of Finance in 2012, the Third Prize for Excellent Research Achievements by the Hubei Provincial Committee in both 2011 and 2012, and the First Prize in the Hubei Province Development Research Award in 2013.
