Professor LU Yuanping, born in September 1984 from Huangmei, Hubei. Prof. LU holds a Doctorate in Management, a Postdoctoral degree in Applied Economics, and serves as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Public Finance and Taxation of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is a Wenlan Young Scholar, the Executive Dean of the Institute of Income Distribution and Public Finance, and the Executive Director of the Innovation and Talent Base for Income Distribution and Public Finance. His research interests encompass income distribution, fiscal and taxation theory and policy, experimental economics, and the economics of happiness. His work has been published in both Chinese and English journals, including China Economic Quarterly, Journal of Financial Research, Finance & Trade Economics, Economic Perspectives, Journal of Happiness Studies, and The Social Science Journal, with several articles reprinted by Chinese Social Science Digest and China Social Science Excellence. He has led over ten provincial and ministerial-level projects, including the General Program and Young Scientist Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the MOE (Ministry of Education) Foundation on Humanities and Social Sciences. He serves as an anonymous reviewer for journals such as China Economic Review, Journal of Happiness Studies, Economic Research Journal, China Economic Quarterly, China Industrial Economics, Journal of Financial Research, and Finance & Trade Economics, and is a correspondent expert for the peer review of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
