WAN Xin, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and full-time researcher at the Innovation and Talent Base for Income Distribution and Public Finance, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and a Distinguished Researcher at the Hubei International Talent Exchange Legal Service Center. Her research focuses on fiscal theory and policy, income distribution, and public economics. She holds a bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. in Fiscal Studies from the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, completed her postdoctoral research in Management Science and Engineering at the same university, and was a visiting postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics, Krannert School of Management, Purdue University. She has led strategic innovation projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology, multiple projects funded by the Hubei Social Science Fund, and Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. She has participated in two major projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China, numerous projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and projects of the Ministry of Education Foundation on Humanities and Social Sciences. Her papers have been published in authoritative international and Chinese journals, including Applied Economics, Journal of Futures Markets, JPAD, Heliyon, and Finance & Trade Economics. Additionally, several of her policy advisory reports have been adopted and comprehensively utilized by leaders from central and national ministries, commissions, and relevant departments of Hubei Province.
